About the
Project
The project represents an extension of an existing industrial bakery, combining large-scale production facilities with a publicly accessible retail shop.
The aim is to complement the operational bakery infrastructure while creating a clear architectural interface between production and customer experience.

The
Result
The new building is conceived as a low, clearly articulated volume that relates carefully to the existing structures without overpowering them. A generously cantilevered roof defines the entrance and shop area, forming a sheltered transitional space between interior and exterior. The architecture emphasizes transparency and openness: extensive glazing and horizontal louvre elements allow controlled views inside, modulate daylight, and contribute to a pleasant spatial atmosphere
Structurally, the extension is characterized by slender columns and a lightweight roof plane, giving the building a refined and contemporary expression. This deliberately contrasts with the more robust, utilitarian architecture of the industrial bakery and clearly identifies the shop as a public-facing, address-forming component within the overall complex.
Functionally, the extension consolidates retail, seating, and service areas, while ensuring that the internal production processes of the bakery remain undisturbed. The project therefore strengthens both the operational efficiency and the brand presence, architecturally linking industrial production, craftsmanship, and public engagement.
