About the
Project
As part of the remodeling of Plant II, the office spaces on the upper floors were redesigned, and a cafeteria was installed.
In the basement, the former underground parking and storage areas were converted into state-of-the-art testing laboratories and a temporary cafeteria, which remained in operation until the completion of Plant V.
Subsequently, the cafeteria was successfully relocated to the upper floor of Plant III, which now operates as the Taste restaurant.

The
Result
The building includes large assembly halls with modular workstations, storage areas for mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, as well as dedicated spaces for quality control and product testing.
Its semi-automated assembly stations, advanced tooling, and provisions for future automation allow Plant II to bridge the gap between R&D prototypes and full-scale production, enabling flexible adaptation to different product lines, process optimization, and efficient material flow across the Thermoplan campus.
Overall, Plant II remains a central component of Thermoplan’s production system, combining its historical role in scaling the company with its current function in innovation testing and pilot production, while the Plant V Unique facility now allows R&D innovations to be fully realized within a modern, automated production ecosystem.
